Carnegie Village Senior Living Resident Spotlight: Nancy
Nancy Wilson has been part of the Carnegie Village family for a year and a half. She was aware of our full continuum of care for years and no longer wanted to live alone. Once she scheduled a tour and viewed the common areas, large apartment homes, restaurant and state-of-the-art amenities, she realized our retirement community had exactly what she needed on one campus for the rest of her life.
The best part of life here for nancy? Neighbors and friends.
Now that she is here, Nancy says she likes the people who live and work here the most. Hobbies include sewing, crocheting, reading, traveling and visiting with her daughters and grandchildren.
She’s always been one to participate in activities and enjoys being in the company of others. She also likes having the opportunity to do something interesting every day. The sewing club at Carnegie is just one program Nancy participates in. Our daily activities range from cards and yoga classes to live entertainment and themed dinners.
Raymore, Missouri was Nancy’s home for 45 years. Mother to two daughters, she has two granddaughters and three great-grandsons. She’s proud to say she did everything around the house herself. Before her husband became ill and passed away, they were married for 57 years, and she enjoyed traveling with him.
Deemed dependable and loyal, Nancy says she will always be honest with you.
We’re delighted Nancy chose Carnegie Village as her home. To learn more about the Carnegie lifestyle, give us a call at 816-331-7848.
